TruckTester is not a single product, it is a multiple tools for different heavy duty vehicle brands bundled into one.

With the purchase of TruckTester you get up to 2 years of free updates.

Generic SAE J1939 diagnostics

Generic SAE J1939 diagnostics is supported with all licenses for free in addition to any TruckTester license. This allows you for basic generic truck diagnosis.

HD-OBD: Heavy-duty vehicles on-board diagnostics

Generic HD-OBD support is also available for all licenses.

Update fees

There is a yearly update fee after initial free updates period. The yearly update fee is 20% of product price. The update fee allows us to improve TruckTester and provide new features, notably control unit configuration.

You are not required to update, however you won't be able to use the latest version of TruckTester. If you keep older version, you can still use it, it won't block.

For TruckTester brands that are still in beta phase we'll provide free updates. When the brand support matures, yearly update fee will apply.
